Therapy for Teenage Girls in Seattle
I help my teenage clients to explore their concerns, create meaningful solutions, and develop the confidence they need to step into early adulthood.
In therapy, I work with teens (15+) who:
Want support in navigating their peer relationships and creating satisfying friendships
Feel overwhelmed with academic stress and the pressure to succeed
Struggle with symptoms of depression and anxiety
Experience difficulty communicating with their family members
Want to feel secure in themselves and confident in their decisions
With all the changes it brings, adolescence can be a stressful time for teens and their parents alike.
Therapy can help teenagers make sense of who they are, what really matters to them, and how they can set themselves up for the type of life they want.
Hi there. I’m Kendra.
I really enjoy working with teens because I appreciate how challenging of a time adolescence can be—it can seem like all at once, you’re somehow expected to have a grand plan for your future, juggle a bunch of commitments to get your resumé in shape for college, find the right friends, start navigating romantic relationships, manage increased responsibility and freedom…oh, and figure out who you are. It’s a lot.
Therapy can be a great place to proactively work through some of these major life questions. It’s a place where you can honestly speak about your questions and concerns without worrying about someone else’s reaction.
I’m here to help you understand yourself better and to support you in figuring out what choices will help you get what you want out of life. My teen clients appreciate that I show up as sincere human being, truly value their perspective, and am committed to collaborating with them to find the best way forward.
